Find Sika Rescuers mission 6 part 4

"Are you alright?"

Sika blinked and looked up. Champ was looking at her worriedly any tries to bring her water forgotten. She was laying on the ground. I must have toppled over when that light appeared. She carefully stood up on shaky legs. It didn't hurt but still she thought something was off. "Water..." Her throat felt dry, much more so than a little while ago.

"Oh, I'll help you." Champ gently grabbed one of Sika's front legs and lead her to the river.

Sika looked down at him. "Were you always this small?" She asked, she had no clue how he would have been able to carry her before if the size diffrence really was this big.

"Hu?" He stopped and looked at Sika in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"I don't really know." Sika walked the last step and layed down on her belly right by the river. Instead of drinking she closed her eyes and dipped her front paws into the cool water instead. Just laying still like that she slowly felt her fatigue and pain fade away.

"What was that?" Champ asked.

"Hm?" Sika didn't open her eyes.

Champ was quiet for a moment. "I think someone is shouting something."

Sika tried to listen. Yes, someone was shouting, or rather calling for someone. Who was the Pokémon calling? It sounded like...

"SIKA!"

"Rowdy?!" Sika called back. She heard some leafs rustle and turned to face a nearby bush as a Sneasel jumped out of them. The Sneasel came to a quick stop as it saw Sika and the Wurmple.

Sika stood up and looked the Sneasel over. "Rowdy?" She couldn't be entirely sure if it really was her friend since most of the Sneasels face was covered by a pair of Fly-goggles.

The ice-type stayed quiet and just stared, or perhaps he wasn't? SIka wasn't sure and was about to ask him who he was when she was interupted.

"Rowdy did you find her?"

Sika turned to see the speaker as the Sneasel ran and hid behind the Cubone that appeard from just behind that strange rock.

"Oh, Pandora what are you doing here?" Sika watched as the cubone blinked once, twice before smiling.

"Okay, I searched all around where Sorbet did the most damage before but I haven't found anything yet. What about any of yo-" Suramu had just jumped down from a tree stopping dead in his tracks as he saw the gathered Pokémon.

"Where you looking for me Su?" Sika asked.

Su stared at her for a moment then looked to Pandora and Rowdy and then back to Sika. "Um, Sika?"

"Of course who else?" She smiled nervously. Seriously what was going on? Sika thought to herself.

"Is that really Sika?" Rowdy asked looking at Pandora.

"I do belive so." Pandora said. When Sika cast her a confused look she motioned to the river.

Sika looked down into the water gasped and took a step back in surprise. She walked back to the water and looked closely at her reflection.

From her forehead a leaf had grown, it's was rather big and Sika was surprised she hadn't noticed it before, and her ears had turned into two big leafs, or some sort of mix between ears and leafs. She looked down, on her chest more leafs grew. She lifted a front paw. Unlike the rest of her that had turned into a light cream color, similar to the fluff around her neck as an Eevee, her paws was very dark brown and more leafs were growing on the back of each one. At last she looked over her shoulder at her tail. it had turned into a leaf similar to her ears.

Sika waved her tail up and down, then she sat down and sighed. This explained why her friends found it hard to recognize her.

"Sika evolved into a Leafeon because of the Mossy rock over there."

Sika turned her head to Pandora and Rowdy. It seemed like Pandora was explaining evolution to her younger partner. She tuned them out and turned to look at Suramu. She never got a chance as her partner tackled her into a hug.

"Sika that's great!" Suramu jumped up and down all the while never letting go of Sika.

"Take it easy, take it easy. I'm still a little sore." When Suramu let go they smiled at eachother.

"Um..."

Sika looked at Champ, she had almost forgot he was around.

"So I take it that you're gonna be safe now?" Champ asked looking around at the other Pokémon.

"Oh, you helped Sika. Thanks!" Su said. "I don't really have anything to reward you with though..."

"That's okay, it's my mission as a Rescuer to find lost Pokémon." Champ crossed his tiny legs and closed his eyes in thought. "I should probably report this now right?"

"I think so? I don't really know how the Rescuers do it." Su said scratching his head.

"I do belive I saw Maple and Winston down that path." Rowdy said pointing to a small path leading deep into the woods.

"Thanks." Champ turned to leave. "I'll see you around sometime." He waved goodbye before heading of to find his guild leaders.

"We should head back too. There is much to be done if we're going to get Tao back the way it was." Pandora said as she turned to walk back the way she came. Rowdy looked back at team FlameGuard and smiled before following his team leader.

"So you evolved?" Su said as he walked after Pandora and Rowdy. "I should probably change something too."

"Like what? We don't have a firestone." Sika said as she got up and followed her teammate.

"Well I've been thinking about getting one of those fedoras, if they still sell those."
